Maryann Dawson began designing wedding flowers, fresh & silk, for the people dearest to her heart as well as her own wedding in 1995. Florals for interiors and holiday decor are also part of her repertoire. In 2000 she completed the interior design of her charmingly romantic 1700's showcase house, including the landscaping. She has spent most of her life involved in the field of design, from fashion to floral, interiors and gardens. Her passion for floral design took precedence over the others in 2004 when she opened Flowers On The Porch Floral Studio. Her primary focus is on Weddings and Events.

Maryann loves to work with all forms and elements of design. Her creativity ranges from quaint garden settings to the very elegant of styles. One step into her showcase house will reveal how she can capture elegance in one room and rusticity in another. Her attention to detail will assure you that her work is perfect in all aspects, from the flowers she uses to the type of look achieved. She is most resourceful also, finding the most appropriate vase or lighting for your indoor or outdoor wedding or event.
